In the Angel episode 5.01 Conviction, Lorne and Angel have a conversation about members of the Kennedy family:
Lorne: “Apparently, Old Joe Kennedy tried to get out of his deal with the firm…”
Angel: “That explains a lot.”
Lorne: “But George, Sr., he read the fine print.”
Joe Kennedy is the head of the Kennedy family which included John F. Kennedy, the former President of the USA. Many of the Kennedy family members have died tragic or mysterious deaths.
