Over the course of the show, Buffy has died three times and each time she has, another of the core four (Buffy, Xander, Willow, Giles) has resurrected her.
- In 1.12 Prophecy Girl after she is drowned by the Master, Xander revives her with CPR.
- In 3.09 The Wish just as her neck is snapped by the Master, Giles “saves” her by smashing Anyanka’s necklace and returning them all to the correct reality.
- After she was killed by mystical energy in 5.22 The Gift, Willow used a spell to resurrect her two episodes later in 6.02 Bargaining (Part Two).

Wow, I never considered that almost-death in The Wish, pretty interesting. I guess that means in that reality Kendra was called?
