We see in 1.10 Nightmares that Willow has a Nerf Herder bumper sticker on her locker door. Nerf Herder wrote and performed the Buffy theme tune. Alyson Hannigan is a big fan of the band and was the person who persuaded Joss Whedon to get them to write the theme.
