Jonathan’s demon-making spell in 6.05 Life Serial is ended with the words “let the spell be ended”. In 5.03 The Replacement Willow enjoined the two separated Xanders using the same words.

It really is funny in “The Replacement”, but in “Life Serial” it’s just lame, like the rest of that episode.

Yes, the episode is lame; it’s true. Not all of the episode is lame, however. There’s the scene in which the Trio discusses Bond (and therefore there is actually something in it that has value).

I thought the scenes when Buffy is working in the Magic Box are funny. And of course this is when Jonathan said “Stop touching my magic bone”.

I was thinking, wouldn’t it be interesting if toth’s spell hit buffy. One side, all buffy-ish, the other, a full on, hard-core slayer. I imagine that the slayer side would want to do nothing but work, and the buffy side would want to hang out with friends. It would of been halarious!!
