The Lei-ach were a family of demons sent by Glory to kill Buffy in 5.06 Family. They had white and red faces and long, forked tongues. The Scoobies were blinded by a spell placed on them by Tara and were unable to see the Lei-ach to fight them properly until the spell was released.

I always thought their red noses and wild hair made them look kinda clown like. Didn’t make them any less freaky! Their tongues were especially gross.

It was fun, though, that Buffy got to fight by listening like she did in Out of Mind, Out of Sight.
