At the end of the episode 2.05 Reptile Boy, Cordelia has decided that “younger men are the way to go” by dating Jonathan. Later, in the season three episode 3.09 The Wish, Harmony bitchily suggests that Cordelia date Jonathan as he probably wouldn’t cheat on her.

I’d choose Jonathan in a heartbeat. He’s my favorite on Buffy, next to Spike. And I’m crushing more on Jonathan than I ever did on Spike.
