Jack was the manager of the student campus bar at UC Sunnydale. He disliked pretentious students and served them Black Frost beer which had been bewitched by his warlock brother-in-law. Anyone who drank the beer (including Buffy) turned into a Neanderthal, seen in 4.05 Beer Bad.
