Gwendolyn Post alerted the Scoobies to the presence of the Glove of Mynnigon in the episode 3.07 Revelations. It was buried in Sunnydale in the Von Hauftman family crypt in Sunnydale. Once worn, the Glove could never be removed. It attached itself to the wearer via steel clamps and those who wore it could then control the power of lightning. Angel attempted to destroy the Glove using living flame but he was attacked by Gwendolyn Post who put the glove on and tried to kill the Scoobies, before being killed by Buffy.
