At the charity event in 2.12 Blood Money, celebrity bandits pretended to hold up guests in order to collect donations. One of the guests asked the following to the character Serena Tate:
“Serena, I have to know, this thing with making your character gay, is that like all about ratings? Because I don’t get it.”
This could be directed towards some viewers who questioned the motives for making character Willow gay.
