In 4.22 Restless, Xander dreams of himself being a struggling twenty-something who is desperate to escape his horrible life in his parents’ basement. Every time he goes somewhere he ends up back in the basement. We also see how he feels about his abusive father, who rips his heart out. Oh yes, and he’s been having a few naughty thoughts about Willow and Tara - and Buffy’s mother.
