You forgot to mention that Wesley died in Not Fade Away.

Well, that’s just depressing.

Plus Lorne got his head chopped off (only to have it put back on) and Lindsey also died in the finale. Also, Conner sort of died on ‘Home’ when Angel killed him with that knife in order to start his new life.

Did Angel kill Connor with a knife…I thought he just knocked him unconscious with a punch.
Am I thinking of the same scene as you….the one in the sport shop when he had the hostages and the bombs?
MagicBone on May 11th, 2006 at 7:32 am
Mel, Angel didn’t want Connor to kill himself, Cordy and the random hostages so he told Connor that he loved him and he was gonna prove it and he slit Connor’s throat. That must’ve been the trigger for the spell to start working, with everyone’s new memories.

As far as Angel killing Connor in ‘Home’, I just love the way that it brings the “The Father Will Kill the Son” prophecy to frution (even though the prophecy was false), as well as that it was never even mentioned that it was (sort of) fulfilled. I love even more that the makers of the show were willing to cover the real prophecy as well by have Conner battle and kill Saijon (or however you spell Jack Conley’s character’s name).

Does Wesley really die in Not Fade Away? I thought that it was left unknown. Maybe I’m just an optimist.
MagicBone on May 11th, 2006 at 11:46 pm
No, Cyvus Vail (I think that was his name) killed him and then Illyria blew up his head. With her fist. I love that part.

I get so sad when Illyria pretends to be Fred for Wesley’s last moments.
And then when she stands up and punches a hole in Cyvus Vail’s head as she is turning back to Illyria - excellent!
Mel on May 13th, 2006 at 8:59 pm
I know why he did it, so the new memories would kick in…..and I can’t believe that all the times I have watched that episode I have never noticed the knife! I thought he just knocked him out.
Just goes to show, you learn something new all the time on here.
I stand corrected!

Lorne, Wesley, Spike and Angel were all killed by Illyria in one of the time-jumps in “Time Bomb”, as well. Harmony, who became a main character in season 5, is a vampire and has therefore died.

How sad is it when Wesley dies and the whole Illyria:’Would you like me to lie to you now?’ and she turns back to fred I cried so much!!
Wynter on July 25th, 2007 at 7:25 pm
So true. And for all we know, Angel might’ve died in the final fight at the end of Not Fade Away, so pretty much all of the original cast has bit the dust. It sucks :-(

Plus you have the deaths of Lorne, Angel, Wesley, and Spike in “Timb Bomb” when time goes wonky.

I tend to forget that one because I thought I would have a heart attack right there. ! It was like “hey, what just happ… Are you KIDDING ?!!!”
And don’t forget Spike, who had the dubious honour of dying twice, once in the 1880s and once in Sunnydale. The only person who can beat that is Darla (3 times)
