Unlike Angel, children in Buffy the Vampire Slayer don’t die very often. The first child to be vamped was The Anointed One (by the Master in 1.05 Never Kill A Boy On The First Date). He was killed by Spike in 2.03 School Hard, after being exposed to sunlight.
The first child actually to be killed on Buffy was in 2.18 Killed By Death, in which a child was killed by Der Kindestod in the hospital. We also saw a flashback to Buffy’s cousin Celia’s death in that episode. The only other kid killed on the show was in season four’s 4.14 Goodbye Iowa, in which a small boy was killed by Adam, using his Polgara skewer.
We saw two ‘dead’ children in 3.11 Gingerbread but it was later revealed that they were not actually children, but a demon disguised as kids.

Oh, I forgot about that kid in Killed by Death. I didn’t count Celia, as she didn’t actually die in that ep, but ages ago

That’s true actually. Children in Angel seem to die all the time. I wonder why that is.

In that ep, where cordy gets the eye put into the back of her head (cant remember the name of the ep sorry). Anyway, the mum, dad, and kids are killed.

Jess: When the Beast kills the Svara priestesses, it kills the whole family, including the children.
When Angelus goes out hunting after being released from the cage in Season 4, he picks up a little girl only to find she’s already been turned.
In Season 1, in the flashback of when Doyle refused to help the Brachen demons against the Scourge, he discovers the entire clan slaughtered, including children.
You could also count the innocent teenager who Connor kills in Season 4 and the off-screen death of a teenager in Season 5 from the Boritz demon.
And Blondie Bear’s mentioned the flashbacks of Angel and Darla.
It’s a fair old bodycount.

Umm… the little girl w/ the third eye was Elizabeth I think. If not, I’m not sure why I thought that. But she had a brother who died too. Plus, Holtz’s daughter was turned into a vampire and his baby son was killed. That girl that Connor stayed with in New World, Sunny, had a drug overdose. And in I’ve Got You Under My Skin, didn’t a little boy kill his sister or something?
