In 3.04 Beauty And The Beasts, the scene in the library where Willow is telling Buffy that the tests she did were inconclusive was originally longer:
Willow: “I should know more after tonight. I’m doing hair and fiber tests.”
Oz: “You know how to do those?”
Willow: “Not- I… like to sound technical when I’m scared. But I figure - wolf hair, hair found on the body. See if they match. It’s a test.”
Oz: “So we’re scared now. It’s official.”
Willow: “What? Oh - no - I didn’t mean it that way-”
Oz: “No. I’d say scared is pretty much called for. It’s cool.”
