In 4.17 Superstar, Jonathan throws a stake at Buffy and she catches it, when they’re in Giles’s apartment. Originally, Buffy was to fumble with the catch and drop the stake - to highlight how much of an affect Jonathan’s spell had on her, but that scene was changed during editing, for some reason.
