The following dialogue is from The Price:

Second smoothie server: “Look out! The dude’s got Ebola or something.”
Groo: “Is Ebola a weapon forged in magic?”
Lorne: “No, forged in monkey poo.”

In 3.22 Graduation Day (Part Two), Cordelia suggests using fake Ebola as a weapon against Mayor Wilkins:

Cordelia: “No! No, we’ll get a box with the Ebola virus and… and…. Or it doesn’t even have to be real, we can just get a box that says Ebola on it and… uhm chase him… with the box…”

In the Angel episode 3.19 The Price, Angel is holding a snow globe and says, “It never snows in California” to which Cordelia replies, “It did once.” This is a reference to 3.10 Amends, when it snowed for the first time in Sunnydale history.

Thaumogenesis

Thaumogenesis

When Buffy was resurrected at the beginning of season six, a demon was created (unwittingly) to counteract the powerful spell (in 6.03 After Life). This is known as thaumogenesis. The demon has no form of its own, so it must borrow people’s bodies - temporarily possessing them. It can only become flesh if it kills the subject of the original spell. If unable to do so, the demon would eventually dissipate.

Willow: “Thaumogenesis!”
Anya: “She’s possessed!”
Willow: “Thaumogenesis.”
Dawn: (to Anya) “You’re right.”
Willow: “I’m not possessed. I-I think I figured it out. This demon, i-it’s not a demon we let out. It’s, it’s a demon that we made.”
Xander: “We made a demon? Bad us.”
Willow: “Thaumogenesis is when doing a spell actually creates a being. In this case it was like, a, a side-effect, I guess. Like a price.”
Dawn: “What?”
Willow: “Think of it like, the world doesn’t like you getting something for free, and we asked for this huge gift. Buffy. A-and so the world said, ‘fine, but if you have that, you have to take this too.’ And it made the demon.”

The concept of thaumogenesis is also used in 3.19 The Price:

Angel: “Start with thaumogenesis…”
Fred: “Thaumo–”
Angel: “Creatures manifested as a by-product of using dark magic.”

The Ambassador Hotel

details | add a comment | suggested by Jess

The Ramsey Hotel scenes in 1.10 Parting Gifts were actually shot at The Ambassador Hotel in Los Angeles, as were (according to the episode’s DVD commentary) the kitchen shots in The Price.
The hotel was a landmark in the city and the site of many Academy Awards ceremonies. The hotel and it’s nightclub, the Cocoanut Grove, were favoured by many Hollywood stars including Marilyn Monroe, Bing Cosby, Howard Hughes, Jean Harlow, John Barrymore and Gloria Swanson. Several U.S. Presidents slept there, and in 1968, Robert Kennedy was assasinated in the kitchen en route to the ballroom to accept the Democratic Presidential nomination.
The neighbourhood where the hotel was situated began to deteriorate in the 1970s and despite a renovation of the Cocoanut Grove in the mid 1970s, the hotel was not able to return to its former splendor. It closed in 1989 and became the site of many movie and TV show shoots, including The Italian Job, Almost Famous, Forrest Gump, Pretty Woman, Fear & Loathing in Las Vegas, The Mask, The Graduate, Beaches and Catch Me If You Can.
Angel was the last production to shoot in the hotel before it’s final demolition in 2005.

In the Angel episode 3.19 The Price, there’s a visual reference to the movie The Mask. When Lorne enters the hotel at the beginning, he’s wearing a yellow-ish suit and a hat shadows his face. These, along with his green face, make him look alot like the manic super-hero in the film.
