The first song Angel first sings in Caritas in the episode 2.01 Judgement is “Mandy” revealing his secret shame - a love of Barry Manilow (”I think it’s kinda pretty”). He also listens to the song in the episode 4.15 Orpheus, and sings a version for Jasmine in 4.19 The Magic Bullet.
In 5.04 Hell Bound, Angel and Spike say:
Angel: “Yeah, I never told anybody about this, but I…I liked your poems.”
Spike: “You like Barry Manilow!”
In 2.06 Guise Will Be Guise, Lorne says to Angel:
“You don’t have to sing. A break for you, a break for me, and a break for Mr. Manilow.”

In the Angel episode 2.06 Guise Will Be Guise, Lorne asks Angel if he’s happy. Angel answers “yes”, to which Lorne replies, “Now once more, with less feeling?” This could be a reference to the Buffy musical episode 6.07 Once More, With Feeling.
Rocky

Lorne says to Angel in 2.06 Guise Will Be Guise, “You’re Rocky and Rocky II and half the one with Mister T.” Sylvester Stallone played Rocky Balboa in the series of Rocky boxing movies. Mr. T was his opponent in the third film.
Sea-breeze
details | add a comment | suggested by Jess
Lorne’s favourite drink is a sea-breeze (Vodka, cranberry and grapefruit), especially if it’s made by his bartender, Ramone (who later left).
In 2.05 Dear Boy:
Host: “Hey, Rico! Top off my sea-breeze, earn my everlasting devotion, huh?”
Lorne: “Thank you, Ramone. I was just thinking I’d rather be drinking. (to Angel) He’s a treasure.”
In 2.09 The Trial:
Host: “People try to kill you everyday. I’m talking about Ramone. Over heard us, betrayed me. The man was a world-class bartender. He made a sea-breeze that took you to Tahiti. Mmm. He’s off the menu now.”
In 2.13 Happy Anniversary he says:
Lorne: “Fairly typical Wednesday crowd. A Torto demon and his parasite were murdering the Everly Brothers, which is nothing compared to what Elian had done to my sea-breeze!”
(Flashback to Lorne and the bartender)
Lorne: “Is this a difficult concept? Were we absent the day they taught sea-breeze in bartender school? Vodka, cranberry, fresh grapefruit juice. Which requires a real live grapefruit. One
you must cut and squeeze, not pour from a can.”
Host: “…Oh. The man is such a moron. You have no idea how I’m suffering since Ramone left.”
In 3.11 Birthday:
Lorne: “Oh, for the love of god, somebody get me a sea-breeze.”
Lorne: “I got a sea breeze that’s gonna up and leave with someone else if I don’t get to her soon.”
Lorne: “Well, ever tried a Sea Breeze?”
We also see him drinking this drink in 4.04 Slouching Toward Bethlehem, 5.05 Life Of The Party and 5.16 Shells.

Angel has a lot of room in his mansion in Sunnydale. So WHY has he positioned his bed right in front of the entrance, which faces full east and is only covered by a curtain?
“Vampire, living in a city known for its sun - driving a convertible. - Why do you hate yourself?” (from 2.06 Guise Will Be Guise)

Cordelia says in 2.06 Guise Will Be Guise:
“You’ve got everyone scared around here, I’ll tell you that. It’s like they don’t even know you’re a shemp.”
Shemp was on one of the Three Stooges, a slapstick comedy team whose film shorts were made between 1934 and 1959. In 5.20 The Girl In Question, Spike says:
“Hey, damn right we are. We’re not gonna be his Shemps any more.”
In the Buffy episode 2.01 When She Was Bad:
Cordelia: “Oh, look, it’s the Three Musketeers.”
Buffy: (to Xander) “Was that an insult?”
Xander: “Kinda lacked punch.”
Willow: “The Three Musketeers were cool.”
Cordelia: “I see your point.”
Xander: “I woulda gone with Stooges.”
Virginia Bryce

Virginia Bryce was a millionaire heiress whose father, Magnus, hired Wesley (doing a bad impression of Angel) to guard his daughter, after threats to her life. In actual fact, he was guarding her virginity, in order to sacrifice her to the demon Yeska on his 50th birthday. Wesley fell for Virginia, and saved her from her father, during which she revealed that she had lost her ‘purity’ aged 16 - and to Wesley the night before. The two began dating, but after Wesley was shot by a zombie cop Virginia broke off the relationship, realising that Wesley’s job was too dangerous.
Wesley’s luck

The following scene, in which Wesley meets a woman at Caritas and tries to impress her with his understanding of the demonic world, was cut from 2.06 Guise Will Be Guise:
Wesley: “…might seem bizarre due to their very demonogenesis, by which I mean that they originate in a culture, that stands outside and yet–”
Cordelia tugs him away from the woman, toward the door
Wesley: “I was having a conversation.”
Angel: “Wes, that was a Tarbo demon who was about a minute from plunging an ovipostor into your naval and spitting larva into your colon.”
Wesley: “Oh, heading home are we?”
