Bach

In the episode 7.16 Storyteller, the classical piece playing at the beginning of the episode, in Andrew’s fantasy, is Brandenburg Concerto 3, Movement 1, by Johann Sebastian Bach. The same piece can be heard in 6.16 Hell’s Bells, being played by the quartet at Anya’s wedding.
In 1.11 Out Of Mind, Out Of Sight, Marcie repeatedly plays Bach’s “Siciliano” on her flute.

YAY for that!! I love it when classical music that I recognize is played on shows and movies and such! I love the Brandenburgs, especially numbers 1 (so much fun!) and 6 (showcase for the violas — and who can complain about that?? hehe perhaps the poor poor violins, who sit out…for once)

I love you margybee! I am a violist and have played the Brandenburg Concerto in the trivia, as well as the second movement of the said piece. I have never heard the 6th on but if it showcases violas, I might have to check it out!

I have the complete oeuvre (or at least what’s been saved, he wrote lots of things he threw away later) of Bach on CD, so if you want to hear the 6th BB concerto, let me know, Abby.

    I’d love to ildjarn.

Can anyone confirm that the piece played on flute on ‘Out of Sight, Out of Mind’ is ‘Traumerie’ by Robert Schumann?
