Babylon 5 has been referenced a couple of times in Buffy. In 5.03 The Replacement, Xander mentions his Babylon 5 commemorative plates. In 6.18 Entropy, we learn that Jonathan used to collect Babylon 5 novels. Danny Strong, who played Jonathan, attended a Buffy Convention in London in 2003, alongside Babylon 5 star Julie Caitlin Brown.
Robin Sachs (Ethan Rayne) played Hedronn in the show and Robin Atkin Downes (Machida) played Byron, a poetic telepath, in Babylon 5.

I met Mira “the French chick from Lost” Furlon on a convention once. She used to play in Babylon 5, and judged a cake competition I was in. She was really nice, and even though my cake didn’t win for either taste nor look, they made a special category, just because they felt it deserved a prize! I won for Bravery and Originality. I think it was well deserved as I made a marsipane cake that was supposed to look like the hat Jayne got from his mother in the Firefly episode The Message.
