Ara played the Incan princess Ampata in 2.04 Inca Mummy Girl. Ara is originally from El Paso in Texas. She was a former Miss Texas who turned her hand to acting. Ara appeared in Saved by the Bell: The College Years, Nip/Tuck and played Raquel Dion Santos in All My Children (which also starred Sarah Michelle Gellar and Michelle Trachtenberg). Ara played the title role in The Hangman’s Daughter (a film which was cast by Buffy casting director Marcia Shulman) and appeared in Bruce Almighty and American Beauty.
