Anyanka’s look as a vengeance demon changed over time between the episodes 3.09 The Wish and 7.05 Selfless. Over time, does the face of a vengeance demon get deeper groves in her face? Or does it correlate to how much vengeance has been done by said demon?

Well I think it’s cause they had a better budget and could do more drastic makeup later in the series.
As far as changes in costume, check out the evolution of the Buffy werewolves from season 2 to season 4 there’s a big change.
