He’s referring to the comedy pairing of Bud Abbott and Lou Costello, the baseball team The Yankees and 80’s action TV series The A Team.

I seem to remember making a comment here griping about the fact that the [evil] Yankees are mentioned in this line. I don’t know what happened to my post that used to be here, but I guess I can make another one in it’s place. Anyway, I hate the Yankees, and just wanted a place to mention it on this site.
